Speakers:

Pastor Rob PacienzaPastor Rob Pacienza

Pastor Pacienza attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated with a BA in Religion. In his freshman year, he was hired by the Campus Pastor to oversee Samford Sunday, a campus ministry that commissioned students to preach in local churches across the state of Alabama. His summers were spent interning with the Student Ministry at Coral Ridge.

After graduation, Pastor Pacienza and his wife were married and called back to South Florida to lead the Student Ministry at Rio Vista Community Church. Rob served the students there until he became their Executive Pastor in 2007.

In 2009, Pastor Pacienza and his wife answered the call to “come home” to Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, first serving as the Inreach Pastor and eventually as the Executive Pastor. It was their desire to return to the place that was so influential on their calling to ministry.

Tom DeRosa

Our Executive Director and Founder, Tom DeRosa left the seminary and the church thinking he was throwing away his faith, but in reality, he had only found a new religion: evolution. However, in 1978, he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of his life. Soon after, he studied the area of Creation at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and has come to the conclusion that a lack of knowledge of the biblical account of creation is greatly responsible for many barriers that keep people from Christ.

Pastor Steve Rowitt

Pastor Steve has been an Ordained Minister of the Gospel since 1982. He has worked for 20 years in the medical laboratory as a Certified Medical Technologist (Licensed Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, Retired).  He has a B.S. degree in Health Sciences, a Th.M. (Theology) and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. He has served the Lord as the Senior Pastor of Biblical Alternatives Fellowship as well as the Chief Technical Advisor for the Creation Studies Institute. All that he is, and all that he has achieved, is due solely to the grace of God found in the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.
