Ministry Move Update

We are finally moved. It was a move that took a great deal of preparation. The fossil collections had to be packed carefully and the displays were taken apart so that they can be safely transported. The numerous teaching materials that we have used for the past 16 years were gone through and boxed. We thank the Lord for all the help from volunteers and Calvary Chapel, Fort Lauderdale that actually provided a truck and the man power to make a successful move.

There is much excitement about moving to our new location at the campus of South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. In our new CSI home, there will be a fantastic opportunity to grow and to significantly impact many more lives for Christ.  New floors were installed, and beautiful walls will be framed in with aluminum Teilen wall system with both glass and melamine giving an elegant appearance. It will be used throughout the area, giving us the necessary separation for offices, museum space, and classroom activities.

Since we are moving into an ample open space, we have the freedom to design the area to our needs. Much of the space is going to be dedicated to exhibits, interactive displays, and room for adults and children to be involved in hands-on workshops. It is our desire to make this new home a place to give God all the honor and glory so both young and old can experience and get excited about their Creator.

As we planned, Phase 1 is getting the ministry operational with a complete fresh new vision. It will be completed once updating our current museum exhibits and keeping displays flexible.  This would provide the opportunity for new and current themes as needed to keep the interest of our visitors.  We are moving on schedule and hope to complete this phase by the end of September. Of course, this depends on the meeting of our financial goal of $50,000. At this point, we have reached 50% of our goal, which is a great start and we give thanks to our Lord. Once phase 1 is completed by the end of September we will move into Phase 2 in which we’ll be adding new interactive exhibits, a Starlab Planetarium and a mammoth wonder from the Ice Age in which we will trust in the Lord to raise another $50,000 which extend our outreach exponentially reaching many souls for Christ with the creation message.

Please hold us up in your prayers as we move forward in faith and trust in the Lord to bring all the resources necessary to complete this project. Please consider partnering with us to reach our Phase 1 goal with the financial of a gift as the Lord leads you.

 In Christ,
Tom DeRosa
