Stoneman Douglas High School
Another student massacre has occurred. This time it has happened in our community in Parkland, Florida where 17 students and teachers lost their lives and another 15 were wounded at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. We mourn with the parents and families that lost their loved ones. We know that the sudden loss of a teenager or parent in this senseless killing leaves many unanswered questions.
In this horrific scene, there is one major factor that seems to be staring us in the face. We live in dangerous times when people seem to be angrier than ever and when evil seems to be more prevalent in our country and across the world. There is rampant lack of respect for authority and the law.
As a nation we have not kept our eyes on God who created us and gave us life. Instead of giving Him honor and glory, our nation seems to be unraveling with evil spreading like wild fire. Our nation needs to rebuild a relationship with God by putting God back into our schools and families.
In Genesis 3, we learn that death, bloodshed, diseases, and evil are consequences of sin. Yet even with sin in our world, people can know there is meaning and purpose in life through Jesus Christ.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is our true passion at Creation Studies Institute (CSI). The world needs to experience God and know that there is an everlasting hope--and that is what we are called by God to do! Our ministry serves with fervor with all our hands-on activities and events for young and old making the connection to our Creator and Savior.
Lives need to be impacted for God’s glory. There are so many needs to be filled as we increase our outreach among students, expand our dynamic visuals, create more displays at our museum, and the list goes on. CSI needs your prayers every day, so please keep us on your prayer lists.
