A Battle to the Death for the Minds of Men

Every so often Hollywood revives an old tried and true script formula. It usually has to do with the threat from parts unknown from a variety of villains ranging from the female deity of evolutionary theory, Mother Nature, to aliens from a galaxy far, far away. Sometimes it’s a disaster movie inspired by the pseudo-science of global warming such as “The Day After Tomorrow” or the horrendously bad remake of the 1951 classic sci-fi flick “The Day the Earth Stood Still” (at least bad enough to garner a nomination for  the Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel from the aptly named alter ego of legitimately good (again by Hollyweird (sic) standards) awards venues, the Razzie Awards.

If it’s not some natural disaster coming to destroy the human race such as the attack of the killer meteor genre ala “Deep Impact” or “Armageddon,”  it is some alien force, invading the earth for some nefarious purpose such as “Independence Day” or the more recent Hollywood offer, “Battle: Los Angeles.”

While the world, the flesh, and the Devil keep most of mankind distracted by Hollywood big screen blockbusters, the real enemy of men has been busy, working just under most radar, changing public opinion about what is right and what is wrong. That is why many people are not interested in, or even aware of,  the real-life manmade disaster that is occurring every single day in public school rooms and institutions of higher learning throughout our own great nation and the world at large.

Human beings have been under attack from a world system devoid of true morality for decades. Some, including myself,  would trace this plot to commit genocide on the human race all the way back to the Garden of Eden. That is where the wisdom of God and a personal relationship with our Creator was first rejected by man. It was there that true godliness and morality, based on the sanctity of human life created in the image of God for the glory of God, was exchanged for a lie. A deception, an ear-tickling half-truth couched in worldly wisdom. As deadly as any manmade or naturally occurring poison the universe has to offer.

This downfall was orchestrated by a creature possessed by a fallen angel. This same creature, Lucifer, had previously rebelled against the authority and wisdom of God, attempting to usurp God’s throne, saying to himself, “I will be like the Most High,” Isaiah 14:12-15. It was this creature who beguiled Eve with convincing lies, e.g. that the forbidden fruit was ‘desirable for gaining wisdom’ and ‘its consumption would make her and Adam Godlike,’ Gen. 3:6.  This version of the “I’ll be worthwhile if_______”  lie formed the basis for the Fall of man and the reason that everyone who is born into the human race is born a sinner in need of the Savior.

Just how has the enemy of mankind succeeded in doing his dirty work? He is a creature of darkness and subtle half-truths. Satan would never appear to the human race in his natural state. He is a liar and the father of every lie, John 8:44, and prefers to remain behind the scenes where he can influence as many people as he can without being identified. Moreover, when he must surface, the Bible tells us he appears as an ‘angel of light’ to deceive others,  II Cor. 11:13-14. How exactly do the minions of darkness influence others? The Bible gives us insight into this.

Satan’s emissaries transform themselves to look like ministers of righteousness. All of God’s children would agree, discriminating against another person is wrong.  We have laws in our country to assure that a person’s God-given rights are protected. No one should be bullied, beaten, or mistreated because they are different from others. While these principles are in perfect alignment with the laws of the land, some behaviors are clearly not God’s plan for mankind. And this is where the proverbial rubber meets the road for Bible believing men and women.  How do you love the sinner and hate the sin. How do you show God’s grace to the lost without condoning behaviors that are clearly forbidden in God’s Word.

It is here that the enemies of God have piggybacked their godless philosophy into our society and public schools almost entirely without notice. There are numerous books written allegedly for educational purposes, but in reality they are materials that have been designed to indoctrinate our youth, making the immoral acceptable. Programs from the celebration of Gay Pride Day to in-depth instruction under the guise of anti-bullying and anti-discrimination classes have become a modern Trojan Horse. In the world of secular humanism run amok, the lines between right and wrong have become so blurred that our children’s future is at stake.

For this reason, the Creation Studies Institute is offering the educational book Life Before Birth: A Christian Family Book by Gary E. Parker, M.S., Ed.D. This resource is written as an educational tool for teachers, parents, and grandparents using the biblical model of the sanctity of life and the plan of a loving God for every child. The book covers a variety of topics  teaching our youth the truth about where they come from, how each child is the result God’s handiwork and His perfect plan without skipping over the more difficult topics such as birth defects and the typical evolutionary explanations that our children will encounter as they progress through institutions of higher education.

The battle for the minds of men continues. The enemy begins by attacking our children in the womb through abortion on demand and other insidious techniques that make ending a life at the earliest possible time very convenient.  Help us fight the good fight and protect the minds of our youth from the evil that they face. We greatly appreciate all of your prayerful support.
