We're Moving

WE'RE MOVING!
We would like to announce that Creation Studies Institute (CSI) is moving its operations, museum, and outreach programs to a new location on July 1, 2019.
We are moving from Calvary Chapel, Ft. Lauderdale, FL campus (2701 West Cypress Creek Road), to South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary located at 2200 South West 10th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
As mentioned in King Solomon’s Ecclesiastes, God
directs our lives in seasons. There was a season in which we saw the CSI ministry born and nurtured at the Ft. Lauderdale campus of Calvary Chapel. There we grew and matured. We praise God for putting that church and its leadership before us and giving us a wonderful place to impact thousands each year with the Creation message. We discipled children, families, and adults through our many programs. It has been 16 years since our museum was built. Curriculum was written, creation fellowships took place, and bible studies were taught. Many have participated and thousands upon thousands have experienced our hands-on workshops and summer camps where God has been glorified as our Creator.
We are grateful to Calvary Chapel and to those who have supported us through this amazing season.
We are excited about the new season God is preparing for us as we prepare to make a new move to South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. Our ministry is welcomed by the President of the College, Dr. Mary Drabik, and the Board of Directors, including Dolores King–St. George. This team recognizes a need for their students to be discipled in and experience the many aspects of Creation truth. They believe this message is so vital to the college that they’ve invited us to teach an Earth Science course in their undergraduate program. This will be a wonderful home in which to grow our ministry. We are looking forward to the synergy between the college and CSI with great enthusiasm and we can’t wait to see how God will direct us in touching lives and spreading the good news of the gospel.
This move will give us an opportunity to expand our outreach at least two-fold and much more because the open space in the building can easily be expanded. We are thrilled because our existing museum displays can be extended and developed into
larger exhibits. With our extensive collection of ice age fossils we have collected over the years, we envision new displays of the huge Columbian Mammoths and the giant ground sloths that roamed the earth after the world-wide flood. We will have room for a large portable planetarium and a dinosaur area for children which will feature the Deinonychus and Tyrannosaurus. An added blessing here will be room on the outside of the building for signage, giving our ministry an opportunity to be seen by many on a well-traveled road. We have a great opportunity in this location to be noticed and to be a light in a darkened world.
As we enter this new season, we seek God’s direction to move forward in providing the resources to serve Him and accomplish His goal in this new venture. With much prayer, we set out with a goal to raise $50,000 to complete Phase I which will provide for us to move our entire ministry, including the operations, museum, and educational programs area. Our aim is to open by September 1st, 2019.
In Phase II, we plan to make improvements by adding new displays and expanding the museum activity area to be interactive by the end of November 2019. This expansion will require another $50,000. We know that our CSI ministry existence is based on a special trust in God whom we serve and glorify.

As a thank you gift we will send you Billy Graham’s Hope for Each Day Signature Edition Devotional. This classic devotional will be yours for a donation of $50 or more. We are sure you’ll be blessed as Pastor Billy Graham shares words of hope every day that give us peace, joy, and encouragement in our Christian walk.
God leads His people through the love and supportive action of other believers. That’s how God’s ministry works. It is made of corporate believers who God has called to be part of His plan. I have witnessed this over and over again in our ministry. God’s people step forward because they have been touched by the Holy Spirit with a common call of making disciples. We are praying that God will provide the resources for Phase I as soon as possible so we can continue to impact lives for Christ.
Yours in Christ,
Tom DeRosa,
Executive Director

Our traveling exhibits include fascinating fossils of creatures that once roamed the earth. Your students will have the opportunity to touch fossils that were unearthed by CSI on their excursion trips and stand next to one of the largest Columbian Mammoths in the world.
But, if touching remains of the past isn’t enough, experience our Ice Age Workshop where students will discover the fascinating creatures of the Ice Age and learn about the climate changes that made them extinct. Each activity will help them to think more critically, to put scientific ideas into perspective, and to learn more about how science works.
The programs are developed to encourage the student to become more grounded in their faith and to trust in the inerrant Word of God.
