A Call for Peace and Prayer

We should all be aware of the modern history of the Holy Land. In 1948, the United Nations partitioned Palestine into two States, Israel and Palestine. Rather than allow the Palestinians to have a homeland, the Arab nations declared war on Israel. Many wars and uprisings have followed. The animosity between Jews and our cousins the Arabs goes all the way back to Genesis.

Fast-forward 75 years. Over that time, terrorists have replaced the governments of Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Now, the world will see more bloodshed and tragedy where innocent civilians suffer in Israel and Gaza.

Now is the time to pray this Maranatha prayer.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you,” Ps.122:6.

This we know is true, there can be no peace apart from the Prince of Peace, Is.9:6.

Our prayer at the Creation Studies Institute is for peace. True peace can be found in only one Person, Jesus of Nazareth, the Creator who became our Savior.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
