We offer on-site creation workshops, 12-week programs and monthly middle/high labs.

Program A: On-Site Creation Workshop

Perfect for Elementary students. We provide a 4-hour session of fun science experiments on the topic of your choice.

Choose a day of fun to go with your studies in one of Apologia’s Elementary Textbooks. Topics may include: Botany, Astronomy, Human Anatomy, Zoology-Land Animals, Zoology-Flying Creatures, Insects, Meteorology, Earth Science or Ecology.

Program B: 12-Week Course – Investigative Science

A Perfect hands-on STEM course for homeschool coops anytime of day and for Classical Conversations Foundations students from 1:00 to 3:00pm.

Our teacher will bring weekly 2-hour sessions of hands-on science fun to students in grades 1-8, based on the Investigative Science Curriculum written by CSI founder Tom DeRosa. This 12 week course may be taken in the Fall or Spring. Lessons will be tailored to your age group.

Matter: Its Properties and Its Changes
Energy: Its Forms, Changes and Functions
Forces and Motion: From High-speed Jets to Wind-up Toys
The Earth: Its Structure & Its Changes

Program C: Monthly Middle/High Science Labs

Perfect for Classical Conversations Challenge Directors or any middle or high school group.
Choose Biology, Physical Science, General Science, Chemistry, Marine Biology, or Physics.

Instructor Johnny Maury, M.Sc will have students conduct experiments each month on your topic of choice. Working at 4 stations in groups of 1-4, depending on class size, students who attend all sessions will end the year with labwork which includes 1 experiment for each chapter in their Apologia textbooks. You may choose a different textbook if you wish.
