Bill Nye the Science Guy has a new show on Netflix called “Bill Nye Saves the World.” He is best known as the host of a wildly successful children’s program on PBS that ran from 1993-1998. In recent years, he has become a very vocal critic of creationism and a staunch defender Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Nye is a self-described agnostic, who has recently been branching out with his new venture.

We are used to reading headlines that make exaggerated announcements based on cherry picked research. The poster boy for this type of evolutionary propaganda is the human versus chimp DNA comparisons that have been promoted for more than 20 years. Since these types of comparison studies were first reported, the headlines and excerpts from these articles have been astonishing.

News outlets reported on the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade that the New York State Senate passed the Reproductive Health Act. It was signed into law by Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo. It was celebrated with Cuomo ordering state landmarks like the spire of One World Trade Center to be lit up in pink to, in his own words, “shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.”
