This is a standard objection that critics frequently lodge against the Biblical record of the Great Flood. They like to ridicule the thought of Noah setting off on trapping expeditions to Alaska and Australia, and they especially seem to relish the thought of the insuperable difficulties encountered by Noah’s family in feeding and cleaning up after the animals during their year in the ark!

The Creation Studies Institute has found the Peace River to be extremely rich in Ice-age fossils. We consider the fossils discovered on our Fossil Floats as living both before, and after, the Flood of Noah. As creationists, we believe that the worldwide cataclysmic biblical Flood was responsible for most of the major geologic changes

The statistics of human populations give further support to this intimation. Ever since the famous studies of Malthus, it has been known that human populations (applied to animal populations by the first Charles Darwin, in developing his theory of evolution by natural selection) have tended to increase geometrically with time.

As Bible believers we are always faced with the question of time. The 'molecules to men' model of Darwinian evolution requires an enormous amount of time to be factored in to the equation. It is really not much more than the 'magic ingredient' in the Theory of Evolution or the concept that given enough time, anything is possible.

Since we understand that there are several dozen models for the universe, we must conclude that it isn't an easy process to construct a cosmological model from our observations. Is it comparative to ten people observing an accident? Do we not often get ten different renditions of what happened? How much more difficult is it for ten scientists to look into the cosmos and tell us what happened after the fact.
